Jesus, what if you and I went for a walk out in the rain
And you turned to me and said that you would like to share just a little of your pain
Well my brother I thought you would never say, I have been waiting forever for this day…
Jesus, what if I were to call you up and ask for a minute of your time,
And I cried and said that I was different from the rest like it was some kind of crime
Well, my brother I pray that when I call, that you may come, and I pray that I am not the only one…
God, what if you were to tell me you were through with the way that I live,
Because you have taking some much from an empty world outside, you have nothing left to give…
Well, my father, I have felt the same way too
But you’ve changed me…
God, what if I were to ask for forgiveness for who I was before you broke me down and realized that I am your son, and you love when I am around
I have hidden myself in you and you have made me brand new…
Thank you father and the son for reaching out for me…Manuel the prodigal son…
I am the traveler, who has found his way home…
So many times father I have competed against you and been focused on the score but I could never win…
So many times I have come to you with scars on my wrist telling you this will be the last time you see me like this if you let me back in
And so many times again and again I have fallen on my face, and in my ignorance and humility I have been brought down to my knees…calling and reaching out for you…and you have always let me back in…
You have shown me that it is okay to just be simply Manuel, bringing down thousand foot walls..
You have shown me that I do not need to apologize to you for not being perfect, because perfection is not the key…
Reaching out and saying thanks to you father and the son for letting me back in, showing me the way, and helping maintain my path. I say thanks for blessing my mother with just a little more time on earth, and for helping me over come the disease of Depression. For the entire blessings, gifts, my strengths and redemption over my weaknesses
Amen, and lets continue this adventure of life together…

I may seem crazy and/or painfully shy..
But I am not stranger, though you still believe that I am yours
Wondering is this one for the people or is this one for the lord?
I just want to be set free from these chains that are holding me,
But is anyone really hearing me’
Staring in the mirror, a self image looking straight through my eyes
Looking at how far that I’ve come, and it’s been a long time coming
While in this frame of mind’
I would like to take a moment of time, to apologize to the girls whose hearts I’ve broken, apologize for the games I’ve played (but the joke was really on me), because I thought I knew you, I thought I knew me, I thought I knew what was most important, when really I still had a lot of growing up to do but believe that I am different now,
You have helped me grow, a relief of the deadly scars, and maybe little and/or nothing at all, but nothing means more than what was shared,
An understanding of why the best things are free
No need for expensive gifts, roses, constant poetic content, mistrust or anything that I seemed to forget’
When time alone is all that she wanted’
I heard you talking before, but I didn’t hear what you were saying
I don’t hear your voice anymore, but now I hear everything you were saying
-A picture painted by the writing of unspoken word, a picture destroyed by unspoken words-
I am fighting voices in my head,
I don’t sleep’ so I know that I am not dreaming
This shit is as real as it comes, I have seen it all and lived through some of the worst,
Remembering how my mother’s grocery list, always included roach spray and food when she had a little extra money’
She was married, but raised me as a single parent
While in this frame of mind..
I just want to say “Mama I Made it”
“I told you one day that I would take all the pain away”
Remember staying out all night, Looking back, “Lol!!!” remembering the names that I was called, and the references made… “street thug, hoodlum, etc.” “I was not suppose to be shit…”
My own father did not believe in me…
But I fucking made it..ha ha ha..
Praying to God that I was dreaming, because I been through so much in this life of my
These chains continue to hold me
But is anyone really hearing me’
Watching the morning break another day’
‘Contemplating about how could J-work be doing time, another victim of racism today’
‘I got you homie’
Staring in the mirror, a self image looking straight through my eyes
Looking at how far that I’ve come, and it’s been a long time coming
But still no one seems to understand the pain that lies deep inside’
On the outside all they see is the perfect light..
Understand how much it hurts to be the one..
The one who is lost inside the walls that he has built,
-A Shell…the disease of self-
A prison deep within my soul, the image of God underneath my skin
Still haven’t forgave myself for some of the cards that I have dealt
So I give back as I receive…
But, lately I have been living on the edge, out of control,
You know chilling in the club with the phony homies..
Wondering who is this man that I’ve become, and why the dark ones continue to scream my name’
So close to hell’
My walk, seems to have become a crawl,
But honesty has become me
With God I can not lose
I have no secrets that can wrong me
Wondering is this one for the people, or is this one for the lord?
I should have been an English major but I mastered chemistry anyway..
Wondering when will I master life’

in two days i will be dead.

Your beautiful brown eyes,
So full of wonder,
Your curly cues
Your contagious smile
And when I see you standing there
I start to grow-up
All I can do, is reminisce about holding you tight,
The clouds around us will rage and the storms will be racing
But you will always be safe in my arm
The rains will pour down, and waves will send us round and round
But you will always be safe in my arms
Girl storybooks are full of fairy tails
About two beautiful strangers, who stumble upon each other?
And find the bluest skies
A king and queen
But my heart is torn, just in knowing that someday you may not be here
The clouds around us will rage and the storms will be racing
But you will always be safe in my arm
The rains will pour down, and waves will send us round and round
But you will always be safe in my arms
The world around us may crumble and dreams may not come true,
But have faith that you are never all alone, I will always,
Always feel this way for you and always hold you in my heart,
Hello God, It’s me again, Manuel the prodigal son
And I pray that …
When the clouds around her does come raging and the storms begin racing
When the rains do start to pour down, and waves send her round and round
And if the world around her does begin to crumble and even if all her dreams do not come true..
That she will always have faith in you God, and in I…
That I will always be there, always hold her in my heart,
I pray that you would insure that in her heart, and let her know that she will always be safe in my arms….
Allow me father to be her faithfull hero on earth, her angel
Amen….

You stand above, but there were times when I wondered did you even love me,
And did you even know who I was
God, you led me to a sadness and I have carried this pain
But I am no longer mad, no longer blaming you,
I just want to say Hello!
This world is a funny place,
I finally learned how dance,
Now I am no longer who I was
I write about life, love, happiness and such
Maybe because I want so much
God, back then I was not who I was, but I never forgot your name
Hello God, it’s me, Manuel the prodigal son,
And I hope and pray you’ll forgive me to…
God the thing I find most amazing, is how you gave it all
Your one and only son
God, I wish you can see me now, and I could show you how I am not who I was
And there are many prodigal sons, who are searching for shelter with in you
Our homes have been broken down, and hopes have falling to the ground from failures
We’ve cried out in emergency as we’ve stood as the lost and unsaved
But God, you have stretch out your hand and led us back home
An understanding that even the most righteous minds go through this
Forgive us father, for we are sinners, whose hearts are crippled
Please continue reaching out your hands
As we are no longer desiring to stand as the lost and unsaved
Father as we look to the heavens and we wait for a rescue
Kneeling in the dark, with our eyes tightly shut, face to ground,
And for our father in return stretching out our hands,
Please continue to lead us home
Hello God, it’s me, Manuel the prodigal son!
And we hope and pray you’ll forgive us to…

An open field of wild flowers
She breathes the air that takes my breath away
She thanks me for the daisies and the roses
No simple language
Hopefully, someday she’ll understand the meaning of it all
She feels as close as a heart beat
Her name on my lips
Someday she’ll trust me
And learn how to see me
Someday she’ll hear me calling and come running
Fall in my arms
The tears will fall down and she’ll say….
I want to fall in love with you
I sit in silence where it hurts deepest
Serving echoes through the wall
Its official, I am losing it
This goes to the people staring to nowhere
Afraid of the change love will have on their souls
As close as a heart beat
My name on her lips
Someday I’ll trust her
And I’ll learn how to see her
Someday I’ll hear her calling and I promise I’ll come running
Fall in her arms
The tears will fall down and I’ll say….
I want to fall in love with you
Forever I shall stay
Seems too easy to call you my lover….
But not close enough to say I love you
So I sit and think of words I can mention to show my devotion
Life with you….

All you need to do to end writers block is use these 5 easy steps consistently so they becomes a habit. Once you do these five steps a few times you’ll be amazed at how quickly inspiration will come to you.

1. Gather Raw Materials
Do your homework. Start by actively researching what you’re writing about. If you’re writing a novel, go out and gather materials about your characters. Visit places where they would hang out. If you’re writing a non-fiction book, ask your target market what their greatest challenges are.

You also want to study areas outside of your main topic or industry. Always enrich your general knowledge because as you write, you’ll have a greater pallet of colors to draw from. If you’re writing a book about gardening then visit museums. If you are writing a book about marketing then be sure to read the latest Harry Potter book.

2. Think Hard
After you’ve done your research spend time digesting all you’ve seen and learned. If you’re working on a novel, what are all the possible ways two characters can interact? Make up ridiculous scenarios and think hard about what could happen between them. If you’re writing non-fiction, look at your topic from all angles like you would a jigsaw puzzle.

As you’re thinking hard, little ideas will start to pop up. Write them down!

Keep processing in your head and keep taking notes until you’re exhausted. You’ll reach a hopeless stage where everything is jumbled in your mind. That’s good! You’re ready for the next step.

3. Stop Thinking!
Drop the issue as completely as possible from your mind. Let the problem work itself out in your subconscious. Literally, sleep on it.

4. Let the Idea Pop In
If you did the last three steps correctly, the forth step should happen automatically. A surprising thing will happen. Maybe you’ll be putting away groceries or washing your hair then all of a sudden, “POP!” A brilliant idea and a blaze of clarity will flash in your mind. Go write it down!

5. Put the Idea to Work
The trick to ending writers block is going through steps 1 – 4 on a regular basis. Be consistent in your research, push yourself and then take time off from writing so that your subconscious mind can process the information. Once you get the flash from a new idea write it all out – it’ll be easy because the idea will be crystal clear with all the elements falling into place.

The habit of producing new ideas can end writers block forever because you’re brain gets used to being inspired instead of being stuck. Start to use this 5 step technique today so you can produce more work in less time.
